Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to a post announcing Lionel Messi winning his 8th Ballon d’Or award yesterday.
The announcement of Lionel Messi winning his 8th Ballon d’Or awards has gotten a direct response from Cristiano Ronaldo. Many are however uncertain if the reaction was a direct response to the win or to the organisers of the award itself following the leak of the final ranking weeks before the award itself took place.
Recall that Ronaldo had initially called out the organisers of the Ballon d’Or awards in 2022 where he accused them for being insincere and misleading the general public.
Messi following an impressive outing at the FIFA World Cup 2022 which saw Argentina win the world cup became the first player in football history to win the iconic award on eight different occasions.
